Your feelings are valid & rest and self care are as Important

I've found I need more rest than normal at the moment as life is just exhausting!! Are you feeling it too?


Everything is so up and down right now, with new restrictions coming in and I feel now more than ever the importance of listening to our bodies. Our emotions are heightened and it can really take its toll on our mental and physical health.


Anxiety can play a huge part in needing more time to rest. Here's a few ways you can build rest into your day without taking yourself to bed.


Take a break from

🌿 Staring at a screen

🌿 Being on your phone


Instead

🌿 Listen to a podcast

🌿 Put your favourite program on

🌿 Take 10-15 minutes out to just close your eyes and listen to what's around you.


Do more things that bring you joy and less that bring you stress!


Take time to self indulge

🌿 Bubble bath

🌿 Crochet / craft

🌿 Meditate

🌿 Go for a stroll


Whatever it is that brings you the most happiness, start building it into your day.
